What do we do?
Activities

The Air Training Corps actively encourages the provision of exciting and useful activities in order to fulfill its three aims detailed on the home page, and most of these activities are provided free of charge as they are heavily subsidised by the RAF.

The navigation bar on the left hand side of the page will take you to a page for each of the main activities where you can read more about what is involved in the activity.

The cadets highest priority is the experience of flight, mainly due to the fact that the service the ATC is a part of is an aviation based one. However, other activities such as adventure training and shooting are used by the ATC to develop leadership, personal skills and discipline, all of which go towards making the cadet a better individual.

Weeks and weekends away are organised as camps for the cadets to get a true feel of the RAF station or other area they are visiting, and squadrons are often individually involved in ceremonial parades or duties.
