Leading classification is the second of the four, and is the least flexible in that the only subjects available for study are those detailed on the Training page. These subjects are:

• Basic Navigation
• Principles of Flight
• Airmanship II

Basic Navigation and Principles of Flight both introduce new material which is necessary for the cadet to be able to study subjects in the further classifications - they are base knowledge which is expanded later.

Airmanship II, as the name suggests, builds on the Airmanship I subject studied at First Class.
